THE GENIUS OF BOXING’S SHOKRAN PARWANI

Shokran Parwani is taking the international boxing scene by storm. The genius of Shokran is not limited to boxing, however. Shokran has levered his boxing career into social media stardom. The professional boxer is nearing six-digit followers on Instagram, where he highlights his success as a boxer, a father, and a creative.

Shokran started his professional career in 2016. He quickly was able to stack together victories, most of which were knockouts against much more experienced boxers. Flashforward five years later, and nothing has changed. Shokran is a perfect 15-0, with 12 knockouts. These accolades are eye opening at any level, but especially at the level Shokran is competing. In 2017, Shokran was won the title as the WBF International Champion. Shokran was titled the German champion in the light heavyweight division just two years later. Shokran Parwani is a name boxing enthusiast should follow and get to know. His work ethic precedes his reputation, and the sky is the limit for this already celebrated boxer.

Like many athletes, Shokran has taken to social media to build his brand. Via Instagram, Shokran regularly provides inside access to his boxing workouts, weightlifting and cardio routines, and hand-eye exercises. Shokran’s Instagram bio says, “NO BOXING NO LIFE.” One could assume that a boxer of his caliber and who possesses his tireless work ethic would have no time for anything else. Shokran does not fit this mold, as his relationship with his son as a mentor and a father seems to be the most important thing in his life. It is evident from his Instagram page that his son, who is going to be an incredible boxer himself one day, is his best friend. In his most recent post, Shokran is seen to be holding his son on his back with the caption stating, “I need nothing more” and “#Loveyoumyson #morethanmylife.” Shokran’s dedication to boxing is unmatched, but so his dedication to his family. Boxing is lucky to have a Shokran Parwani, and we should celebrate boxers of his caliber when we have the opportunity to.

Look forward to this summer when Hafiz gets back in the ring against Vikapita Meroro, where he will look to add to his knockout rate and improve to 16-0. To keep up with his career and personal life, follow Shokran’s Instagram page (@shokranparwani).
