To this, Comma answers, “I started as a tattoo artist way back in 2009, and since then have been honing my skills to reach this position. Though he had a good hand at art and drawing, Comma learnt the nuances of the field from his mentor BK at Inkers by working besides him and observing him from close quarters, which made him a fine artist that he is today. Presently, he holds the position of a resident artist for 10KF Seoul (formerly Tattooing House) since 2020. Comma has participated in various solo exhibitions, crew exhibitions, tattoo artist exhibitions, competitions, and overseas tattoo conventions. Industry experts observe that his style is iconic and original, which sets him apart from his contemporaries. Each of his work display depth and emotion and has its own charm. His work predominantly includes blackwork collage tattoos, and he also enjoys working on larger pieces to show his talent and skills to its full capacity. He wants to take his passion to the next level by excelling in this field and emerge as one of the most renowned master of this art.
He has a lot of accomplishments under his belt which include winning the 3rd place in the 2019 Blackwork Competition, Chiang Mai Tattoo Convention, Thailand, winning the 1st and 2nd place in the 2019 Shanghai Tattoo Convention, winning the 2nd place in Blackwork at the Bangkok Tattoo Convention, Thailand in 2020, and has won many such prestigious awards. Furthermore, he has also participated in a number of exhibitions and tattoo world competitions including the 2017 Fifty Fifty Memories Tattoo Exhibition, 2019 Langfang Tattoo Convention in China, Borders Art Exhibition in 2019 and many such important events.
