Importance & impact of spirituality by Sanyasi Shivay David Giri.

Sanyasi Shivay David Giri is from Goa. He has a great vision towards spirituality.

He is an accurate Numerologist and a Tarot reader. He combines both and that is a very unique of doing the reading.

While he speaks about “What Is Spirituality”, he explains :

You are an atma who is a part of paramatma, Who is now in the human form and occupies human body.  This is a play of Shiva’s Maya. We have all done certain karmas and based on those karmas we are reborn and that is how the whole creation is manifested.

Knowing the fact that you are a part of paramatma and comprehend that,  Eventually the whole existence will merge back into paramashiva. Hence, The parabrahma-shiva is spirituality to me.

Two phrases which defines spirituality to me are:

1. Sarvam Shivamayam.  Everything that is present and existent is because of shiva himself.

2.  Shivam Sarvam : Shiva is everything and nothing exists beyond him.

Once we know what is atma, Spirituality is the continuation of living with this awareness.

How can spirituality change one’s life?

One of the saint that i have been very fond of over the years and been inspired by, Is Baba Shivanand from Varanasi. He is 126 years old. Baba says

 “Har nar Narayan hai.”

(Every human is god.)  Everyone is god. His statements repeatedly convince me and this is spirituality to me. When you believe, know and understand that Shiva is everything and everything is an embodiment of Shiva. Whole of is because of him and he is the source of all. It will helps us explore & live life better. As mentioned above, Everything merges back into him eventually which is called the mahapralaya. Again, it will be the play of maya and yugas come into existence.

There is no place which does not have the presence of Shiva. Good or bad, dirty or clean everything has Shiva’s presence. When you live with this awareness and know the existence, Your whole outlook towards life, people and circumstances changes, You become Shiva conscious which will enable you to do the right karmas and  follow dharma. You will reduce on dhushkarma and dhurvichara. Satsang will become important. When I say satsang it does not mean religious preaching, But! It is being in the company of like minded people who help & encourage you to follow the right path.

Om Namo Narayana.
