Wondering who is Samuel Cardillo? This passionate youngster hailed from Liège, Belgium and was born in 1995. He studied Cryptography from Stanford University in 2013-14, followed by Cybersecurity from the University of Washington, Terrorism and Anti-Terrorism Operations from University of Maryland College Park and Artificial Intelligence from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Samuel Cardillo confesses how he felt a close inclination towards computers from a very early age, at only four years. By the time he turned eight, he had already built his first website and continued learning additional programming languages. As a 14-year-old, Samuel then took the risk to quit school to focus on his passion for IT and self-taught himself the principles of software development and cybersecurity, then proceeded to work, which landed him with various government and research institutions’ projects. Since then, he has never looked back, and over the years, he has honed his skills and ventured out into a series of jobs and projects in both the private and public sectors.
He even created and sold many apps throughout his career and continued with adventures and projects in tech. Apart from that, it is Samuel’s commitment and his quest to take the industry to newer success levels that have helped him start and co-found different companies and startups across fields of cyber warfare, management, cybersecurity, bioengineering, and geospatial intelligence, besides also mentoring several Israeli startups.
At only 26 years, Samuel Cardillo has to his credit incredible achievements in his career recognized by both public and private sectors. He has assisted the US Department of Defense, Combating Terrorism Technical Support Office (CTTSO), and the Israeli Ministry of Defense. Some of his projects have been featured by Google, Mozilla, Samsung, and other tech giants in the industry.
As the founder and CEO of his company ShadowBreak Intl, they have been working towards providing geospatial intelligence for governments and corporations. In addition, he has been heavily innovating and setting guidelines for the development of NFTs.
