VOBARA, founded by Alex Arabov, is one of the only Miami jewelers in the hip-hop niche who gives all clients the celebrity treatment, from meetings in his appointment-only showroom to producing high-quality custom pieces, all at a reasonable price.
Before VOBARA became a full-time job for Alex, he worked within the hip-hop industry, shooting music videos. One artist he worked with multiple times was Kodak Black. As Kodak took a liking to Alex’s creativity, the two formed a bond, and Alex had the opportunity to design the cover for his Institution album, the album that really introduced Kodak to the hip-hop world on a mainstream scale.
When Kodak was released from jail in 2018, the first piece of jewelry he purchased was a custom Star of David pendant from VOBARA to show his loyalty and support the brand.
Driven by his passion for creating memorable and unique pieces of bling, Alex takes great pride in designing and manufacturing even the most outlandish dreams of VOBARA’s customers.
“We make sure, from the moment we make contact, that every customer gets our undivided attention. We call them and discuss exactly what they have in mind, and from there, we do our design process,” says Alex. “We make sure the customer is involved and knows what’s going on during each step of the process. We take pride in every piece that comes out of VOBARA.”
Before VOBARA was custom pendants, they were the birthplace of the Apple Watch Pendant, adding the bling aspect to the Apple Watch. These pendant cases, still sold today through the company’s website, lend a whole new vibe to the watch proving that VOBARA can really make anything shine.

When Alex launched the Apple Watch pendants, Kodak Black stood firmly by his side and was a heavy promoter of it. Kodak was seen wearing it multiple times and even made shout-outs on social media and took exclusive pictures and videos for VOBARA.
As Alex points out, VOBARA is all about customer satisfaction, and he always tries his best to provide his customers with high-quality service. “VOBARA is a company that is all about the customer. We make every customer’s purchase an experience, from beginning to end,” says Alex.
