Rajasthan has long stood as a favorite destination for Bollywood celebrities, known for its majestic palaces and regal ambiance. From Priyanka Chopra’s fairytale wedding to Salman Khan’s lavish birthday celebrations, the state remains a prime choice for grand events.

said Ashish Chaudhary, a hospitality expert, in a conversation with the Financial Express.
Chaudhary, who manages Vijayran Resorts, emphasized Rajasthan’s growing appeal for corporate events and retreats, particularly in Jaipur and Udaipur. “The state is witnessing increased investments, making it a top contender for India’s tourism capital. Experiences like rural tourism, camel safaris, and cultural festivals are drawing experiential travelers,” he added.

As per Statista, Rajasthan welcomed nearly 108 million domestic tourists in 2022, contributing 6.26% of India’s domestic tourism. Additionally, about 400,000 foreign visitors traveled to the state the same year, accounting for 4.62% of India’s total foreign tourist arrivals.
